From 2020 through 2022, Jared Fagan owned the Commissioner's Cup. Three consecutive gross titles — the longest gross dynasty in the league's modern records. Add the 2016 Match Play crown (entered in the books as 'Fagen') and you have one of the most accomplished pure ball-strikers the ETGL has produced. Golf runs in the blood: Jared's father, Greg "The Grand Pooba" Fagan, and brother Sean both play in the league — making the Fagans one of the rare three-generation-deep families on the ETGL tour.
The streak eventually passed to Tanor Johnson and then Chris Clogston, but the standard Fagan set — win the raw-score race not once but three straight years — still defines what a dominant gross season looks like.
Length off the tee, a low ball flight that holds up in Puget Sound wind, and the confidence of a man who has been the best scorer in the field before and expects to be again. When he's on, the gross leaderboard is a formality.
Hit it far, find it, hit it again. People overthink this game.— Jared Fagan
